Dr. Fred Luskin is the founder of the Stanford University Forgiveness Projects and currently serves as Director.  

Over the course of a decade, he developed and taught the Happiness class, grounded in the principles of Positive Psychology. Additionally, he co-founded the Live Works and Wellness Education programs at the Stanford School of Medicine. He is a faculty member for the Stanford School of Business Executive Education program, where he teaches an 8-hour series on Mindfulness and Happiness to business executives worldwide.

Dr. Kathleen Kirgin is a depth psychologist, cultural researcher, and globally experienced executive consultant for 15+ years, assisting C-level leaders and entrepreneurs in personal development, performance, and mastering conscious leadership skills. Her primary research centers on cultural trauma and the healing of transgenerational wounding. She is also an adjunct professor at Pacifica Graduate Institute. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University and obtained her master’s degree and her doctorate in depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her doctoral research focuses on the collective trauma of these cultural wounds over time.  

Dr. Richard Tarnas is a Professor Emeritus at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, where he foudned the graudate program in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness. He has taught courses in the history of ideas, depth psychology, archetypal cosmology, cultural history, the art and discipline of writing, and evolution of consciousness. He is the author of The Passion of the Western Mind, a history of the Western world view from the ancient Greek to the postmodern that is widely used in universities. His second book, Cosmos and Psyche, received the Book of the Year Prize from the Scientific and Medical Network, and contains an exploration of the phenomenon of synchronicity. He is also the co-editor of Psyche Unbound: Essays in Honor of Stanislav Grof. Dr. Richard Tarnas is a past president of the International Transpersonal Association and member of theh Board of Governors for the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco.

Dr. Shani Robins, pioneered the field of Wisdom TherapyTM in 1998 and has been the founder and president of the Wisdom Therapy Institute for the last 25 years. He is a California Board Certified Licensed Psychologist, a professor and instructor at Stanford and other Universities, and teaches clinical, research, social, cognitive, positive psychology, wellness, and lifespan development courses, as well as applications of Wisdom Therapy and Emotional Intelligence in the workplace and everyday life. Dr. Dr. Robins received his Ph.D. in 1996 from U.C. Santa Barbara, a prestigious NIMH Postdoctoral Fellowship at UC Irvine, and a second Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 2002. He has developed multiple organizations in health and mental health, including psychological clinics and an Adult Day Health Care Center in 2009. Shani is an avid racquetball player and also enjoys playing chess and GO. He rollerblades, salsa dances, runs the occasional marathon, and strives to appreciate the simple things.

Dr. Gordon Chiu is a renowned pioneer in the study and commercialization of graphene, and has collaborated on graphene projects in the USA, Asia, and Europe and is author or co-author on 41 international patents. His intellectual stamp is visible in many graphene applications at other companies. He invented a process to make graphene without needing to use mined purified graphite. His later collaborative work at Rutgers university led to development and patenting of an economical process to exfoliate graphene from graphite. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute summa cum laude in chemistry. While at RPI he was employed by NASA to work on its Origins of Life program under the late Professor

Hakim Horton is a British social development consultant affiliated with the UNESCAP and works as a strategic advisor at Horton Strategic. Dr. Ed Morrison, Ph.D. in Economics, J.D. (Doctor of Law), MBA, and B.A. graduate from Yale University, is an accomplished professional with 25+ years of experience. As a co-author of the acclaimed book “Strategic Doing – Ten Skills for Agile Leadership,” a #1 Amazon New Release in 6 categories, he specializes in developing network-based models for strategy, with a focus on collaboration and innovation in today’s global economy. Dr. Dorote Lucci is a dedicated practitioner focused on transforming habits and improving quality of life through mindfulness-based approaches. With a background in international management and marketing, she supports people on their cancer journeys. In 2014, she co-founded Embodied Inc, creating apps like Worry Bubble and Corereboot for habit reprogramming. She also developed virtual reality experiences, such as StarflightVR and FlowforbreathVR, which aim to facilitate gentle and intuitive habit change for stress relief and mental health benefits. Dr. Lucci holds a PhD in psychology, specializing in transpersonal and cognitive neuroscience, and actively engages in teaching and facilitating workshops at various institutions.

Dr. Kelly Yi is a Licensed Psychologist and Associate Chair of the PsyD Program at The Institute of Transpersonal Psychology at Sofia University. He also is a clinical supervisor at Stanford/The Pacific Graduate School of Psychology’s empirically-based university clinic. He studied the psycholoy of religion and comparative religious/spiritual experiences as an undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara. In graduate school, he conducted original doctoral research on long-term mindfulness training and well being, examining the experiences of long-term practitioners and teachers.  He is a past post-doctoral Summer Research Fellow of The Mind and Life Institute, as well as a research assistant on the Mindn and Life INstitute’s leading edge Cultivating Emotional Balance project.  He is a certified Cultivating Emotional Balance Teache.  Dr. Yi has specializations working with spritual and religious issues, addictions, trauma, ethnic identity and cultural issues, anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, and meaning of life issues.  He is currently writing a book on Multi-Dimensional Psychology. 

Dr. Asif Ahmed MD is a distinguished vascular scientist and successful entrepreneur, known for his groundbreaking work in the field of preeclampsia. With 25 years of experience as a research professor at esteemed institutions like Stanford University, he discovered two molecular pathways that prevent this life-threatening high blood pressure disease in pregnancy. Professor Ahmed secured substantial government grants totaling $40M and holds 10 patents in multiple countries. He was a professor of psychology for more than 20 years at California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, where he also served as chairman of the Department of East-West Psychology. He currently teaches in several international psychotherapy training programs, as well as coaches top-rank world executives through Mobius Executive Leadership. Dr. Ferrer is the author of several books including Participation and the Mystery: Transpersonal Essays in Psychology, Education, and Religion (State University fo New York Press, 2017) and Love and Freedom: Transcending Monogamy and Polyamory (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021). 
Former member of the Esalen Institute’s Center for Theory and Research, he received the Fezter Presidential Award for his seminal work on consciousness studies, and was selected as an advisor to the Religions for Peace organization at the
United Nations.
